Guidelines for Manuscript Preparation

The extended deadline for submission of papers is May 1, 2010

  • The length of the paper should be 6,000 words (maximum)
  • Single line spacing inclusive of tables, notes, and references
  • 12-point Arial
  • Fully justified
  • Please do not insert running headings
  • Manuscript should be written in English and prepared in Microsoft Word document (Please do not submit PDF)
  • Manuscript should be submitted electronically (preferably as an e-mail attachment)
  • Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any previously published or copyright material
  • Title of the paper should be bold, centered at the top of the first page
  • Author(s) identification (name(s), affiliations, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, etc.) should be centered below the title.
  • All figures and tables need to be referred to at the appropriate points in the text. They should be imbedded in the manuscript. They should not all be grouped together at the end of the manuscript.
  • Figures and tables should be numbered in order throughout the text, and each requires a title. These are to appear above the figures and tables. Where appropriate sources of data are to be indicated at the bottom of the figure in parentheses.
  • If possible, in-text citations are to use the author-date style of APA (Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 5th edition). Source citations for direct quotations must provide page numbers as well as author(s) and date. Sources with three or more authors provide only the first author's name followed by et al
  • Notes should be placed at the end of the paper, before References section. They should be numbered consecutively.
